THE INTERNATIONAL BUGGY WEEKEND

Every year, the IBW is held in one of five countries that take turns to host it. In 2009 it was in Holland and in 2010 it will be Belgium.

Team-X will be attending and would welcome the company of other buggy, baja or sandrail owners. NOTE: Having spoken to the organisers at the 2009 IBW it is clear that the 2010 event will only be open to all buggies etc that are road registered.

We plan to travel from Hull to Europort and then drive to the event. Depending on where you are in the UK it may be easier to travel from other ports.

We will be catching the Ferry on Thursday 20th May (be on board by 7pm latest!), this arrives in Holland about 8am next day and then drive to the event which is being held near the City of Genk.

We will be there until the Monday morning (24th) when we drive back to Europort to catch the evening boat back to arrive back in Blighty on Tuesday 25th

The price for the ferry was £318 in total for two people in a twin cabin with a car towing a trailer return (when i just looked on 1st Oct 2009!)

The price for entry of the event is 65 euro per person and this includes entry, all entertainment and food on the friday night, breakfast and evening meal saturday and sunday and breakfast on the Monday.

If there is enough interest, Team-X may organise a group ferry booking to try to reduce costs.
